Dr. Carole France began her career in academia followed by six years as a Clinical Psychologist. After discovering that her true passion revolved around business and career issues, she engaged in additional study to prepare her to work in organization development and career related challenges.

Her interest in leadership began in 1986 while working for Western (now Delta) Airlines by flying in Boeing 727 cockpits to observe and subsequently develop interventions and educational programs to improve captain leadership capability and communication within the three-person cockpit.

While the majority of her career has been in executive development, Carole was recruited from the Burlington Northern Leadership Center by a sister company, Plum Creek Timber, to develop markets in Europe and Asia. In that role, Carole shaped strategy and developed and managed a complex, diverse network of distributors and agents. With her psychology background and undergraduate education in anthropology, Carole was particularly adept at managing cross-cultural relationships.

In 1990, Carole established a consulting practice. Along with serving her own clients, she served as the Consulting Psychologist to Drake Beam Morin, taught international marketing and leadership courses at the University of Washington, designed business simulations and games for Paradigm Learning, Inc., and served as a designer, client manager, coach, and facilitator for CDR International (now Mercer Leadership Development).
